A long needed update

Well I have been slacking over the lasst couple of weeks in updating and I have had some injury problems and had to take a little over a week off of running but things have gotten started again and I am a little hurt still but running through it. Here are the mileage updates and the next report will come on Monday.

July 28th - Aug 3rd

7/28 - 13.2 miles 1:31:20
Didn't go long yesterday due to the wedding and travels so decided to go longer today. Wanted to go a little bit further but I was getting pretty tired towards the end.

7/29 - 10.1 miles 1:12:20
Easy day

7/30 - off traveling for work

7/31 - 5.5 miles 40:00
Easy run with a guy and his wife.

8/1 - 6.25 miles 42:45
Easy run before the race tomorrow.

8/2 - Half Marathon 1:17:20
Ran the race easy for the first half and then tried to push it for the last half.

Overall it was an pretty crappy day. I felt really good for awhile but once my hamstring tightened up it was a long last couple miles. It probably didn't help that I didn't get much sleep this week and have been outside in the sun and standing up for 9 hours a day for three days this week. But now that the busy work week is over I can get back to some good training and be ready for Dick Beardsley in a month.

8/3 - off much needed after this week.

Pretty crappy week due to a crazy schedule at work but it is all over now.
